    I didn't purchase that book. I think its already an outdated reference, being published in Poor choice by NCARB in my opinion. If you are aware of the pros/cons of BIM through your own working experience, I would rely on that more than this resource. As for practice questions, NCARB's Handbook questions are of course the best. I also like these Designer Hacks question packages - they're about $30 for questions, good for preparing for tests that you're feeling less confident about.

The Ballast practice questions are hit-or-miss. The questions can be mediocre and contain typos, but there's often new information in the solutions that wasn. Together we identified relevant sections of the book, Architectural Handbook of Professional Practice, one of the main resources to young professionals pursuing registration.

This book contains a wealth of information and is well over one thousand pages. The purpose was to identify the relevant information for the ARE exams in a book that is. InNCARB’s members voted to recommend at least three years of practical experience prior to licensure.
